Before saying anything i'll say you to look at my previous articles which would get you free content for websites & where you can create free websites or blogs. So now you have a full functional website. Now i'll enlighten you on how to make your own webpage yourselves without any online visual webbuilder systems that many free webhosts offer to clients who don't know html & coding stuff.

Code your own webpage from scratch or use content managment system by customizing looks & page behaviours.

HTML is the backbone of a webpage as a browsers decodes the html code to decide how the page should open & all. So at first a simple webpage can be created via html which is a web scripting language (not programming language) which is used to create a webpage.Then we need to add graphics elements like images & flash videos to website to make the website more appealing. So we have to create these graphics images flash videos by using many 3rd party softwares or by using macromedia's flash designing softwraes. Flash & graphics are optional & now a days most site visitors don't prefer too much graphic elements as it distracts their attention & many other issues still a webpage should have 2-3 images. Then we need to style the text , buttons of our webpage to give rise to a beautifull look & design- this is done by using a concept known as Cascaded Style Sheet or CSS in our webpage.The css is a special type of code which is again incorporated in the html code of our page. Another thing is client side dynamism in webpage which is taken care by a special webbased programming or scripting language known as Javascript (don't confuse it with java). All things like automatic banner-rotator, poll caster & every thing can be coded using JS. So javascript & CSS incorporated to HTML will give rise to a static but a brilliant webpage. Still our page would be static in nature & very dull.(also it's difficult to maintain & add contents). So we need to go for techniques to make a dynamic website with dynamic content (server side) or database based content which is possible in following way.

First solution is use of content management system like Joomla or blogging system like wordpress where we can very easily dynamic content by just writing in a box & publishing (one click publishing). But if you use any content management system or blogging system like Blogger(this page it self), then we don't have to code the page as it would be previously coded in the template & we can use that template coded by others. Still we have to know css,javascript,html as we can edit that template to control ourselves how our wepage should look like. Also we can make our own template using the codes specified by the content management system & our html javascript & css. Also you may not have full control over how your site looks & how it behaves.

The most sought solution is use of any dynamic web screipting or web programming languages like PHP which is on top now. Also other synamic webprogramming languages are JSP & Java based scripting, ASP(microsoft .net based), coldfusion (macromedia). Most of the webpages are made using these which work on server side. They are server side dynamic webdesigning platform or languages & need webservers supporting them & also databse is incorporated to them. Also the content management systems use these webprogramming scripting to make a webdesigning & content managing platform. We can develop from scratch very high-end sites like webdirectory, search engines, classified ads site, etc.

You can purchase any webtemplate where an existing design will be incorporated to your page & edit it as per requirements.

So now you get the basic idea on how to develop own fully featured dynamic site. But we have missed out some other things. Allways you'll need templates to incorporate into your pages, plenty of free & cheap templates are available online which you can use & edit. But remember if you do code yourselves there is no need of such template. But to save a lot of time if you are experienced you can purchase any template & edit itself accoring to how your website should look.

Use web-templates directly in your webpage & skip all the coding part.

Just purchase or download free templates & cheap templates where the coding has already being done for you & you need to put your information instead of what is written in the designed webpage. So you get a completely designed website in this case.Just need to modify & customize.

Also free web tools are most important- use them.

Free webtools like Guest Book, Journal, Site Ring, Contant Form & others are made available by many online services like iweb bravenet for free.(you need to create an account there). USe these tools free to add interactivity to website. Also for those who use content managment systems, free tools are available in form of plugins which can be installed on server.

Use some web-authoring softwares.

Many WYSIWYG editors webpage builders are available which create webpages, webpage button, navigation button, sitemap, site menu & other things with minimal user interaction.(1 click authoring) Images buttons navigation popup menu etc will be automatically created for you by the software which also creates the code. Also specialised softwares create a specific item like navigation menu, banner, flash movie, image-graphics. You can search in search engines for those & use those free. Also there may be somepaid ones. Microsoft Frontpage which ships with it's top product MS Office is a complete webdesigning tool which is WYSIWYG editor & webpage builder with many inbuilt tools. We'll provide many such free tools used by most webmasters.

What other things a webmaster needs to take care of?

The site should be hosted at some web server that's affordable & supports the type of webpage you made. Also have all means of doing online transactions as you'll be frequently required to do so because you may sell some thing in your website also you may recieve payments from your website's sponsors. The most easiest way to make online transaction is creditcard or paypal (also requires credit card to verify). Also you need to promote your website so that it'll get more amount of visitors,this is covered in SEO.

Yes you have all those things done but why some one will visit your site for? definitely to get some content. Are you wondering what content should your site have such that it'll get a no.of visitors daily & will be on top of other websites blogs.(yes free websites & blogs have ruled the top position many times).

What content to write on in your website or weblog?

Write only what you can & what you know. I mean you should have a full + complete idea on what you are writing as you may be asked questions by many peple searching for that and on replying your site'll be benifited. Also people rate on the content on the basis of quality of writing so have a good writing skill or hire some one to do the same. The content for your site may be iPod tricks if you own a ipod & know it's geek-tricks,may be webdesigning,computer hardware, software tricks, freeware/shareware softwares download if you are interested in those. It should never be any thing in which you are not interested in.Also you can blog about your country, people arts etc. Also you can blog about how do you maintian your computer & how you utilise your internet connection.You can say others which softwares are you using and how fine it works. If you are a newbie web designer, then you might be learning a lot of new tricks! whyn't sharing with other newbie webdesigners so that they'll be benifited & your site with webmaster tricks will be a hit.

Choose some content that you have finest of ideas and good interest and u can write many things on this content so that your site'll have maximum content regarding that.

Can i use some other website's content?

How will you do that?you may be dragged to court for copying content.But you can do partially in some other way. You need to take permission of the site owner before using his content. Most of them will agree because when you'll write their content in your page, you'll acknowledge them by writing their name as actual writer of that content and a backlink to their site from your page. Also without acknowleding them you can't get away as they are the owner of that content.(don't frequently use or quote any other site's content as they'll decrease your search engine rankings) .

Are any contents available on internet which i can freely use my site?

Yes there are many public domain free articles which can be found on many e-zines directory or articles directories in www.They offer public domain high quality articles which any public can use but should not exclude the actual author of the article. Public domain means there is no specific copyright on that item/artcle. Some of the public domain articles are available in Ezine Articles, Ezine Hub, Article Fever, Article Warehouse and many others search in google-there'll be many. (allways mention author's info when you use these in your site) E-zines refer to electronics magazing where contents are available for free use in magazines ezines newsletter site blog etc. You can also write content but you need quality writing. Also write your name and website in author's information so that you'll get backlink. Also you can use free public domain e-books & other public domain stuff in your site. See more is the sit's content more is the no.of visitors you'll get.

But where to promote these products-as i mentioned previously blogs & websites are most common methods to promote than e-mail marketing. Now write content for your website. Choose your content which can be internet marketing if you'll promote some  internet marketing schemes. It may be a weblog may be about any gadget,computer etc.  It depends on you-i'll also write about this soon. I'll say about details of content to choose.

Ok added content-now what to do?
Oh! you are half done and you need some income from website as you made it for that. Join Google adsense and  other advertising and affiliate programs  and publish their links on your website or blog.(may be a banner or text link at top or side) and if any one clicks these affiliate links like Clickbank or generates a lead etc.  Also some adverising sites give you money on number of visitors to your site.

What is left? SEO
Never thought on how to get visitors to your site. What will be the value of site with no visitors. Mostly you will get your visitors from search engines like google or yahoo but they need to crawl your website which requires a bit of SEO (search engine optimisation) . Also inform friends community members orkut friends and others about the site. We'll say in details how & where to prmote your site/blog in SEO Section .

So your internet marketing system was created designed in free basis and you'll earn a lot from this site. Also go and learn web designing from various sources all tough you don't need in this case as online visual webbuilder system can be used and free templates are available. *You can customize to the extent you can.Also a lot of free templates are available for use and you can edit them to maximum extent.so gives most control of view of the page.

*Include advertisements of advertising services like Google Adsense and also can blend it and earn cash.

*You can not do any server side stuff here as in all free blogs.
*Also has features like your custom TLD domains,shift the blog to another webhost via FTP
*Categorisation of post is very very difficult(all most impossible)

So here you'll get a free wordpress blog but u can not edit html or css and can not add javascript adsense ads etc.They say that in future it'll be allowed.But advantage is it's enterprise style look and view.All posts are categorised and user can view any category.Also tags and other search related concepts are available here.They do every thing like SEO for you and you've to post using very easy interfasce.You can add links images at sidebar and also do some editions using sidebar widgets.I'd a free blog but very popular at Fun4Mobiles Blog. There are inbuilt templates (lot) out of which u can choose one but you can't install other templates. Image,video,file uploading is allowed(but uploading of php file's forbidden). All stats hits and information about feeds and pages will be tracked so that you can analyse the site.You can slo choose a TLD domain and set it to this free blog. Also can export-import posts from other sites of yours. Blogsome gives you a wordpress blog where you can do customizations to the template files so you can insert javascript codes google adsense codes and earn money from blogs/sites.

3 Live Journal
This popular free blog host is preferred by many individuals who enjoy a community-based blogging system. It is completely web-based and the sign-up process is quick and easy. You can not use any codes and can not edit templates
and so can't use adsense in free version.

4 My Space
Myspace is most famous blogging platform in US. where most of the school children blog.There you can add html code but no javascript and no ads of yours.

5 Xanga
This free blog platform is completely web-based which has a lot of chinise users. There is also a 'premium' (paid) version and this is growing in popularity especially b'coz of its community. sign-up and you will get a free blog going soon enough.This is famous in china.

6 Multiply
This is where blogging meets social networking as it's a social networking site where you can blog (web based). It also supports photo blogging and video/audio uploads. "There are three membership levels: Free, Gold, and Platinum."You can not edit any html or any code and can't ad adsense ads whats o ever in free one.

7 Yahoo 360
It's a social networking plus a completely webbased blogging site from famous Yahoo.

8 MSN Space
You get a free space in web where you can write journal entries coloumns.Now it's converted to Windows Live Space.

9 Soul Cast
Here you get paid for blogging and you can't edit html but you need to provide adsense ID to them so that thay'll show adsense ads of yours in your soulcast blog(one of the ads in a page may be yours),so that you'll be paid by adsense.I was testing it by having blog at soulcast but didn't see good income,but it was working for some of my friends.


We choosed blogger blogs because of the features mentioned above like full control of blog like page presentation, navigation. Even tough i don't have a perfect categorisation of post but i use the new "labels" for posts to categorise posts as a set of posts will appear in that label.Even blogger has upgraded to a new feature called layout customization where you can customize pages without any html idea. Any ways this blog of mine is new now i'd blogging experience at wordpress.com and wordpress blog on own host (this is co-authored by me).But for webdesigner or to be a webdesigner who wants to start without investing,and also earn money from blog, then Blogger is the best choice.
